(A remusification of “Hush Little Baby” lullaby for my daughter.)

Hush, sweet Susanna; close your eyes,
Gentle dreams are always a sweet surprise.

And when your gentle dreams are sweet,
Angels sing above you their songs, complete.

And when those angels’ songs float down,
Music notes are worn like a soft night gown.

And when that nightgown is comfy-warm,
Music makes the fabric you wear transform,

And when you’re comfy-warm, within your bed,
Angels are still hovering overhead.

And when your bedroom is filled with love,
Angels are still singing from up above.

And when their songs fill your gentle dreams,
Everything will be more than what it seems.

And when your gentle dreams come true,
I’ll have the sweetest Susanna in you.

Twinkle, twinkle, little star,
How I wonder what you are.
Up above the world so high,
Like a diamond in the sky.

When the blazing sun is gone,
When he nothing shines upon,
Then you show your little light,

Then the traveller in the dark,
Thanks you for your tiny spark,
He could not see which way to go,
If you did not twinkle so.

In the dark blue sky you keep,
And often through my curtains peep,
